Public School Attendance Alternatives

Golden Charter Academy is a public charter school of choice, and enrollment is voluntary. No student is required to attend Golden Charter Academy. Students who reside within the Fresno Unified School District and choose not to attend Golden Charter Academy may attend a public school within the District in accordance with Fresno Unified School District enrollment and attendance policies. Families may also pursue available intradistrict or interdistrict transfer options in accordance with applicable District policies and California law. Parents and guardians are advised that enrollment in Golden Charter Academy does not create or confer a right to admission to a particular school or program of another local educational agency (LEA). Admission to another public school or program is subject to the enrollment, transfer, admission, capacity, and other applicable policies and requirements of that local educational agency.
